Captain William (Bill) Shiels began a spiritual journey that led him to better understand holiness and the impact it has on his life. It was later in life when he began his journey – an exploration of holiness – that led him to the creation of a newsletter on holiness that he shared across the world. In time, those newsletter were reviewed and packaged together into a small book call Exploring Holiness. The writings in each chapter were inspired by God as he led Bill on an amazing journey of reading, conversations and active research into what holiness means to a believer.

These works are by no means meant to be a definitive truth on holiness but the beginning of an active conversation and possibly an inspiration for those desiring a life of growing in holiness as God intended.

Unfortunately, Bill’s journey was cut short after he was Promoted to Glory in December 1997 following a car accident. While his journey may have come to an end, his family continues to carry the torch as they share their exploration of holiness in their lives.

From the Author:

This work is an adventure in progress. It’s focus is on the questions common to the new covert to Christ. ore than that it is somewhat autobiographical. my own transformation with the Holy Spirit has clearly defined my life mission: To peach and teach the doctrine that distinguished “The Great Awakening”.

I believe that only the pure in heart can lead the Church to renewal. my prayer is that you will read the following pages with your mind ope to history and the miracle of God’s second work of grace.
